Scans Procedure

Test Scoring Service (Scans)

The Testing Office offers scoring services for the blue T&E 200 answer sheet. A statistical analysis report is included in our services for the following: test scores, mean, average, percentage, standard deviation, standard error of measurement, reliability KR-20 coefficient, T-scores, median, histogram, discrimination index and choice analysis information.

To request test scoring for scans:

    1. Bring the answer documents to be scored in a campus mail envelope or manila folder to the Testing Office, located in the Industrial Studies Building, room 228. Answer documents received by campus mail will not be scored.
    2. Request 1 or more Green General Purpose Answer Key(s) and fill it out. For questions about the answer keys, please click here.
    3. Fill out your name and the quantity of answer sheets to be scored on the "Scanned Classroom Exam Log Sheet," located in the Classroom Exam Log-In Binder.
    4. Place the answer sheets and scoring key in the same direction in a manila folder/envelope and place the envelope into the box next to the log-in binder.
    5. See below for processing time.*
    6. Pick-up of answer sheets can be done in-person, by a member of the department, or by a Teaching Assistant. They will need to sign the logbook before leaving.

Please note: Occasionally, our scanning machine requires maintenance and glitches occur. Our office will contact you about the scoring process if we experience any delays.

* Processing time for scans is approximately 2 business days during the regular term. (During finals, we will rush processing to have scans ready the next business day.)
