EPT/ELM

The California State University system-wide placement testing program in basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills consists of the English Placement Test (EPT) and the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) examination. You may be required to take one or both of these tests by checking the Exemptions.

To attain the best possible schedule for the semester, take these placement tests as soon as possible. Enrollment during orientation is dependent on the timely receipt of scores by our campus. Failure to complete required placement tests will result in your inability to enroll for courses.
